This show had some of the strongest performances of the Landover 94 run. Good versions of Jack a Roe, High Time, Deal, Eyes, He's Gone, China Doll, etc. However, the boys also subjected us to many of the worst songs in their catalog - If the Shoe Fits, Easy Answers, and Samba in the Rain all in the same show! No one should be subjected to that! These song choices continually pulled the plug on the show's energy. The Jerry and drumz Jam after He's Gone was also a bit odd. Jerry remained out for virtually all of drumz but did not contribute much. The LSD to end the show was a complete disaster - Garcia fumbled virtually all of the lyrics. At the time I considered this to be the worst show of the run. However, I now have the benefit of weeding out the crappy songs and enjoying the highlights. Eyes is really great! This audience sounds much better and clearer than the "SBD" copy available. For those who like 94 - this show has some fine moments. 4 stars for the highlights and a great quality audience recording (probably closer to a 3.5).
